Всемирный день борьбы со СПИДом: установка на отчетность
Тема отчетности была разработана командой поддержки Всемирной кампании по борьбе со СПИДом, которая основала свои разработки на продолжительной работе, связанной с подготовкой к Всемирному дню борьбы со СПИДом, а также на результатах пропагандистско-агитационной встречи по вопросам СПИДа и ВИЧ, проведенной в феврале 2005 года в Лондоне. Ранняя работа, связанная с Всемирным днем борьбы со СПИДом, преподала много уроков, и в этом году намного больше усилий приложено на успешное проведение Всемирного дня борьбы со СПИДом. Наиболее важным аспектом этого дня является то, насколько существенно он основан на вкладах широкого спектра партнеров гражданской общественности.
Background on the Theme
After two decades of AIDS, we know that with sufficient will and resources we can turn this epidemic around. In June 2001 Heads of State and government representatives gathered for the United Nations General Assembly Special Session on HIV/AIDS (UNGASS). This was the first time a meeting such as this one recognized that AIDS was a global crisis requiring global action.

World AIDS Day 2006: CDROM
World AIDS Day is a day when people from around the world come together within a single effort. The global theme for World AIDS Day 2006 is accountability – and the slogan is, Stop AIDS. Keep the Promise. Groups and organisations around the world will use this theme and slogan to guide their work. However, the best campaigns are locally developed. So we encourage you to make creative use of the global theme and slogan, and to develop local campaigning messages. This CDROM contains resources to help you do that.
