For Immediate Release – 27 November 2008 A deepening financial crisis emphasises the urgency of maintaining and strengthening the global response to HIV and AIDS, say AIDS activists from across civil society.

 

Available now: the first edition of the AIDS Accountability Country Scorecard and interactive website that brings together the most recent data from 190 countries showing how they are following up on the United Nations 2001 Declaration of Commitment on HIV/AIDS. The AAI Country Scorecard is the first transparent and analytical overview of national responses to the epidemic.

2008 World AIDS Day

On this World AIDS Day, campaigners from all over the world came together to bring attention to the global AIDS epidemic. Thank you all for your support and enthusiasm in commemorating this 20th anniversary of World AIDS Day. We hope that you will continue to campaign to stop AIDS not just on World AIDS Day, but throughout the year.
