Concept paper re MSM Youth Consultation (SEA and the Pacific) HIVOS and World AIDS Campaign
A three day meeting will be held in Bangkok focusing on the key issues effecting MSMY in the region. The agenda with developed through a consultative process with MSMY from the region. Addressing key issues of HIV vulnerability, self esteem, access to relevant and appropriate services and information, education and human rights abuses.

Poor Countries Fail Gay Men
A research commissioned by UNAIDS and led by academics from the University of New South Wales (UNSW) reveals that "less than a third of gay men in developing countries have been tested for HIV."

Uganda: ‘Anti-Homosexuality’ Bill Threatens Liberties and Human Rights Defenders
A draft bill introduced on October 14, 2009, the "Anti-Homosexuality Bill," in Uganda's parliament would be a violation of human rights and it should be withdrawn immediately, was voiced by a group of 16 local and international human rights organisations.

ICAAP 2009: Community forum lacks sufficient edge to hold leaders accountable
The community forum that was held in preparation of 9th ICAAP being held on 9-13 August 2009 in Bali, Indonesia, is an important way of bringing affected populations together but some of the delegates still feel that communities don’t have the sufficient edge to hold leaders accountable.
According to Greg Gray, Key Populations Manager Campaign Coordinator for the World AIDS Campaign (WAC), representatives of affected populations are still bogged down with details, not action-oriented and are always looking for recommendations.
